National Mastitis Council’s (NMC) next webinar features “Investigating Teat Health Conditions Using the NMC Teat Condition Portfolio.” This one-hour educational offering starts at 2 p.m. Central time on Feb. 18.

Keith Engel, NMC board member and GEA hygiene and milk harvest specialist, will serve as the NMC webinar presenter. Past chair of NMC’s Teat Health Committee, this committee was instrumental in developing and launching NMC’s Teat Condition Portfolio (TCP) – an online udder health resource.

The Feb. 18 webinar will focus on using NMC’s TCP to help participants with bovine teat health, evaluation of teat conditioning and addressing teat condition issues. TCP allows dairy producers and dairy consultants to quickly obtain images of various teat conditions. Searchable by key word, TCP helps users find teat symptoms that match what they are seeing.
